Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Parts Counter Salesperson to assist customers in finding the right semi truck and trailer parts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, generating sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in identifying their parts needs
  • Recommend and sell parts and accessories to meet customers' requirements
  • Provide accurate product information and technical advice
  • Process customer orders and handle transactions at the counter
  • Maintain inventory and ensure availability of parts
  • Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing parts in the warehouse
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to meet customer needs
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in a semi truck parts or an industrial industry
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and equipment
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
