Job Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst

Vaco Boston has partnered with a leading Real Estate Company in the Newton area to find a skilled Accounts Receivable Analyst to support their finance and accounting team.

Responsibilities:
  • Process daily cash applications from lockbox and monthly ACH direct debit for 30 properties.
  • Charge up properties rent roll charges every first of the month.
  • Prepare monthly closing reports for property management and Accountants.
  • Responsible for answering billing inquires and research account history.
  • Process 5000 payments monthly across approximately 30 properties, including EFTs and lockboxes.
  • Apply various charges to owners' accounts.
  • Assist with questions and concerns.
  • Assist with other accounting and miscellaneous job-related duties as needed.
  • Generate statements for delinquent owners.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in an AR-related position required.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven accuracy, dependability, and timeliness.
  • Strong accounting computer skills and knowledge of commonly used accounting concepts.
