Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of bus mechanics, traffic laws, and school bus regulations.
  • Hold a valid Type I school bus driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Be physically capable of driving a bus with children and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Complete all required classroom training and exams to ensure compliance with district policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A valid TO-1 Card.
  • A clean DMV Driver Record.
  • A Class B permit.
  • A Medical Examination Form MCSA-5.
  • A Medical Examiner's Certificate Form MCSA-6.
  • A resume highlighting relevant experience and qualifications.
Working Conditions

This is an hourly employment position with training provided. Performance assessments will be conducted to evaluate your performance and ensure compliance with district standards.
