Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Cleared Security Officer, you will be entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. You will receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.
- Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
- Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
- Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel.
- Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
- Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- A Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- One or more of the following:
- A minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site.
- Prior military experience.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
