Manufacturing Scheduler

Job Summary
RTX is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services.
- Operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule.
- Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Work daily to confirm material supply and demands.
- Prepare work orders for the production of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
- Work with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory cycle counts and reconcile the system.
- Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
- Perform movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other area) as needed.
Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years prior relevant experience, or advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
- 5 or more years' experience in a manufacturing facility, manufacturing scheduling, planning, inventory cycle and production control.
- 5 years' experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software troubleshooting.
- 5 years' experience using an SAP program.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Clearance Information
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
