Job Title: Technical Program Manager

Join NXP Semiconductors, a leading global semiconductor company, as a Technical Program Manager in our Advanced Chip Engineering (ACE) team. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead high-complexity SoC designs and drive project execution.

About the Role

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, prioritizing activities, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. You will drive project pace by identifying technical risks and implementing timely solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of SoC projects from architectural definition to validation
  • Create project plans with milestones, timelines, ownership, and drive delivery
  • Facilitate project calls with global cross-functional teams to drive progress and resolve issues
  • Facilitate project health check awareness and support executive/senior management reporting
  • Act as the first line of contact for issue escalation
  • Provide balance in technical support for architectural approvals, development, documentation closure, and source control management (quality control)
  • Ensure the team is effectively delivering on their objectives and all plans are on track. Perform risk analysis, identify, and execute on mitigation steps
About the Team

The NXP ACE Engineering Program Management team is a global and diverse team of experienced PMs from various backgrounds and experiences leading a diverse portfolio across multiple business lines in a matrix organization. They work in close collaboration with the business lines to achieve market timing and business financial goals, leading the central SOC engineering teams through all project lifecycles.

Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience as a successful Program Manager leading high-complexity SoC Designs
  • Minimum 5 years of design experience in complex SoC projects (e.g., SoC Architecture, IP, RTL through Physical Implementation, Verification/Validation)
  • BSEE or MSEE
  • Deep knowledge of project management
  • Management experience with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Experience with Project Management tools such as MS Project or similar
  • General understanding of system design and architectural definition
Location

This position is located in Austin, TX. We offer a hybrid environment where you will work in the office 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week. This position is NOT open to 100% remote work.
