About the Role

Cisco is seeking a talented Hardware Engineer PhD to join our team. As a key member of our hardware engineering group, you will have the opportunity to design and develop innovative hardware solutions that shape the future of the internet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop hardware systems, including ASICs, boards, and circuits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with software and firmware
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and products
Requirements
  • Actively enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Proficient experience in hardware engineering areas such as ASIC design, system/board design, circuit board layout, and signal integrity
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering fundamentals and technical analytical skills
