Position Overview
In this role, reporting directly to the VP of Process Sciences, the Manager of Technology Transfer will oversee a dedicated team responsible for the effective transfer of technologies and processes at Scorpius BioManufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cross-functional Tech Transfer initiatives.
- Ensure projects are managed efficiently within established timelines.
- Engage with clients to facilitate necessary documentation.
- Assess risks and manage project gating processes.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure successful technology transfers.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in process and analytical technology transfer methodologies.
- Experience in managing external laboratory collaborations.
- Demonstrated success in delivering project outcomes.
Skills and Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of technology transfer processes.
- Exceptional project management and communication abilities.
- Capacity to make prompt decisions and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and guidelines.
- Experience with Facility Fit assessments and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Adaptable working hours.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work in both office and laboratory settings.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
