About the Opportunity

We are seeking highly qualified and experienced nursing professionals to join our team as part-time faculty members at Maine's Public Universities. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in our nursing programs, sharing your expertise and passion for nursing education.

About the Role

As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and evaluating students in our nursing programs. This may include teaching clinical nursing skills, leading discussions and lectures, and assessing student learning outcomes. You will also be expected to participate in curriculum development, program evaluation, and other faculty responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and evaluate students in our nursing programs
  • Develop and implement curriculum and instructional materials
  • Participate in program evaluation and assessment
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to achieve program goals
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education

Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing or related field
  • Current active Maine RN license or relevant nursing compact license
  • Able to meet employment criteria including background check, immunizations, BLS/CPR certification, and current TB for clinical teaching
  • Expertise in entry-level nursing skills, and recent practice in clinical nursing
