Position Overview
The University of Washington Medical Center-Northwest is seeking a Clinical Excellence Coordinator to enhance our nursing development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary clinical resource for nursing staff and healthcare professionals.
- Provide leadership in clinical practices to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based care.
- Oversee the implementation of individualized patient care plans based on current evidence.
- Monitor and evaluate electronic medical record documentation and clinical decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, regulations, and evidence-based standards.
- Identify high-risk patients and provide necessary support to care teams.
- Focus on quality improvement measures related to patient safety and care outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership and medical teams to enhance patient care.
- Analyze safety events and quality outcomes to provide targeted education to nursing staff.
- Participate in committees aimed at improving clinical practices and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Washington State.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of five years of nursing experience.
