Clinical Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Pulmonary Renal Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
- Registered Nurse License issued by the Department of Health Professions, Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BSN or enrollment in BSN program required within first two years of employment and completion of BSN within five years of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Two years Registered Nurse experience is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leadership and management within the specialty is required.
