We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Coordinator to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Working with staff to identify educational and equipment needs, and developing strategies to address these needs.
- Coaching and managing performance skills, and developing leadership potential.
- Assisting in clinical coaching and ensuring that orientation for employees is completed in accordance with policy.
- Participating in providing patient care by taking a patient assignment as needed during emergent situations.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to ensure that all nurse-sensitive quality metrics are maintained above the National/NDNQI benchmark through process improvement, reduction in practice variation, and evidence-based practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Two years of Registered Nurse experience.
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program.
- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred).
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
