Multifamily Financial Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant to join our team at GoldOller Real Estate Investments. As a Property Accountant, you will work closely with the VP of Accounting, other accounting staff, asset management, and the operations team to ensure the financial accuracy and integrity of our multifamily communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare balance sheet account analysis and account reconciliation
  • Reconcile all bank accounts
  • Generate monthly financial reports and prepare supporting schedules
  • Review financial statements for accuracy and month-end closing reports
  • Analyze variances
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Month-end closing reports
  • Assist with the development of internal controls
  • Complete special projects and duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to conduct financial analysis and research
  • Understanding of accounting theories, principles, and practices
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and recommend solutions
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in composing and proofing materials
  • Efficient use of time management with the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of OneSite - RealPage Residential Property Management Software (preferred but not required)
  • Minimum - Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years' experience in related fields
  • Computer proficiency, with thorough knowledge of Excel
  • Property management experience desired
