Covenant House Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, reviewing financial statements, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits and budgeting processes, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports

* Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets

* Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements

* Create new processes to improve financial efficiency

* Report analysis and findings to the management team

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in accounting or other related fields

* Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

* Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools

* Experience with MIP Accounting Software is a plus

* Detail and deadline-oriented

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education/Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline

* At least 2 years of experience

* Familiarity with accounting programs, MIP Accounting Software is a plus

* Excellent knowledge of Excel
