We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at HallKeen Assisted Living Communities LLC. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean public areas and resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
- Laundry and Sanitation: Perform laundry duties as assigned, and disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.
- Waste Management: Empty wastebaskets, transport trash and waste to disposal areas, and work cooperatively with Maintenance associates to ensure trash and dumpster areas are clean.
- Reporting and Communication: Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly, and report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues to your Supervisor.
- Physical Abilities: Physically able to move at least 50 lbs. without assistance, bend, reach, and work in small areas, push and pull equipment and furnishings, and stand for long periods of time.
- Cognitive Abilities: Able to operate cleaning equipment, work various schedules and shifts as needed, read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers, print and speak simple sentences in English, add and subtract two-digit numbers, and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
