Job Summary

This position provides substance abuse treatment services in outpatient or residential settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessment, treatment planning, and provision of counseling services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients to identify substance abuse disorders and develop treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
  • Conduct urinalysis and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with care providers and coordinate multiple service providers for clients
  • Provide training to staff, caregivers, and family members on substance abuse issues
Requirements
  • CADC 1 certification or equivalent national certification
  • Knowledge of treatment of substance-related disorders and program policies and procedures
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, depending on the work assignment
  • Access to a car and valid driver's license
