Key Responsibilities:

  • Check patients in for appointments and accurately verify demographics
  • Ensure all check-in procedures are completed and monitor patient wait times
  • Read and interpret insurance responses to properly assign primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance
  • Communicate financial obligations to patients and collect fees as necessary
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and process multi-channel messages related to patient and/or physician requests
  • Perform cash posting and maintain accurate medical records
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational and HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
