About the Role

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director - Finance and Logistics to join our team. This is a critical role that will oversee the fiscal management operations of our organization, ensuring the smooth coordination of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage department budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Oversee the management of our distribution centers, culinary operations, and other logistical functions to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Provide administrative leadership and support to our team, including hiring, training, and developing staff goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with TSA policies and procedures, local and federal regulations, and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with our leadership team, finance department, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Experience: 4 years of work experience in business management and/or business administration.
  • Certifications: CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, experience with accounting software systems, and integrated database applications.
