About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Behavioral Health Technician. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise PRN Behavioral Health Technicians and provide guidance on program policies and procedures
  • Coordinate program activities and respond to emergency situations
  • Assist in crisis intervention and manage unit supplies
  • Ensure adequate staffing and monitor unit safety
  • Facilitate educational groups and teach coping skills
  • Oversee clients' performance of ADLs and encourage adherence to treatment goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
  • At least 1 year experience working with people with mental illness and co-occurring disorders
  • Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Ability to work weekends, variable shifts, and holidays
  • Basic typing and computer skills
