Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Chico's FAS. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead sales operations, asset protection, and human resources functions to ensure great customer experience and maximum profitability.
  • Analyze sales reports and KPIs to determine business needs and execute in-store business and sales strategies.
  • Establish and communicate clear expectations, holding store team and yourself accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Control payroll and supply budget, and oversee basic operational activities such as scheduling, target shrink audits, physical inventory, and merchandise flow processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, loss prevention policies, operating procedures, and controls, and conduct associate training to reinforce proper controls.
  • Develop a high-performance culture, motivating sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals, and train and develop store management team on business acumen to drive overall performance.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years of retail management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills, with proven excellent customer service skills and statistical track record in sales and leadership.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company, with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Established history in recruiting and retaining a quality sales and support staff, with general knowledge of apparel products and excellent leadership qualities, training, and team building skills.
