The Regional Facilities Operations Manager is tasked with supervising and directing the performance of maintenance, operational activities, and physical assets of the Bank's facilities within a designated region. Responsibilities may include executing space planning strategies, managing daily operations, and overseeing both preventative and reactive maintenance, as well as capital project initiatives for various locations. This role ensures that departmental activities and methodologies add value to the Bank while aligning with business objectives through a comprehensive understanding of facility infrastructure. It is also responsible for implementing policies that ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. The manager will strive to enhance operational efficiencies, elevate service quality, and mitigate risks through diligent oversight of facility operations and research, while recommending industry best practices. Additionally, this role includes managing and developing regional staff responsible for the upkeep and repair of branch facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Facility Support: Directs maintenance and repair initiatives to ensure the functionality of Bank facilities. Oversees the timely completion of work order requests and provides training to Facilities Managers on preventative maintenance schedules to minimize business disruptions. Conducts inspections, troubleshoots technical issues, and develops effective asset management strategies. Assists in executing departmental projects, including renovations, capital improvements, relocations, and other special initiatives. Aids in the development of emergency preparedness plans and standard operating procedures.

Facility Strategy: Cultivates and manages ongoing relationships with key department leaders to ensure the workplace continuously meets business needs. Collaborates with management and department heads on strategic activities related to forecasting growth and space requirements, prioritizing projects, and supporting acquisition integration efforts.

Vendor Management: Oversees key vendor relationships to maximize value in terms of pricing and service levels. Works with vendors to identify necessary improvements or changes and coordinates with procurement on contract activities as required.

Budget Planning: Develops, tracks, and maintains both short-term and long-term capital and expense budgets for assigned locations, including recommendations for major expenditures or budget variances. Ensures that long-term schedules and capital plans are established and monitored for locations within the region. Reports on budget performance and identifies opportunities for cost savings.

Managerial Functions: Leads facilities staff in the region, providing coaching and support for their professional development. Sets and monitors expectations to achieve departmental and company goals. Adjusts guidelines and procedures as necessary to meet objectives. Responsible for the selection, hiring, performance evaluation, and training of assigned staff.

Project Management: Plans and executes enhancement projects at assigned regional locations, supporting projects that involve workplace initiatives outside the department.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in Corporate Real Estate Facilities/Facilities Management, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience.

Additional Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Corporate Real Estate Facilities and Maintenance
- Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience managing electrical and mechanical vendors
- Proven experience managing Facilities Managers and Senior Facilities Managers
- Ability to conduct in-depth building assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strategic thinking capabilities
- Willingness to travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as ASHRAE, BOMA, and/or IFMA
- Background in Chief Engineering
- Experience in Commissioning
- Financial Services background

Compensation:
If hired, the base pay for this position typically ranges from $108,913 to $167,000 annually, with actual starting pay determined by skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the employment offer.
