We are expanding our operations and are seeking a dedicated full-time office-based Procurement Support Specialist to enhance our team at our corporate office.

The hourly compensation for this role ranges from $20 to $25, contingent upon your experience and qualifications. We provide competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package after a designated period, which includes medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, and paid time off. Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Support Specialist:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact among various departments and branches concerning procurement-related tasks.
  • Assist in generating purchase orders for suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers.
  • Ensure that purchase orders are regularly updated with notes and pertinent details to keep the sales team informed.
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve challenges that arise during the procurement process.
  • Keep the sales team informed of any issues affecting customer orders.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with vendors.
  • Hold suppliers accountable for their performance in terms of quality, cost, and timely delivery.
  • Address price discrepancies with vendors and the sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant departments to ensure that purchased products align with the company's needs.
  • Foster a cooperative working environment with sales, warehouse, customer service, and management teams to achieve positive outcomes.
Qualifications

Ideal Candidates for the Procurement Support Specialist Role Should Have:

  • Authorization to work for any U.S. employer; sponsorship is not available.
  • Previous experience in procurement is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
  • A positive and professional attitude.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Experience with SAP software is preferred, though training is available for the right candidate.
