Job Overview

  • Vehicle Design and Development: Oversee the design and development of body structures, body closures, interior trim, and exterior trim for current North America produced vehicles.
  • Technology Assessment and Implementation: Provide strategic guidance on the adoption of new technologies in production vehicles, ensuring alignment with OEM and Tier Supplier production methodologies.
  • Business Management: Develop and execute business plans to meet program timing, cost, and quality improvement goals, while managing engineering personnel and budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of design engineers, assign tasks, and manage engineers to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 12 years of experience in automotive design and development, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in managing an engineering department.
  • Expertise in vehicle design, with a strong ability to resolve development and quality issues.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 or CAD systems, project management, and MS Office Suite.
