Senior Yard Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Yard Specialist to join our team at Glovis EV Logistics America. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective oversight of vehicle location updates, identification, movement, staging, and vehicle prep for full-time and temporary staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate vehicle movements, shuttle routes, and parking locations to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Establish and maintain accurate documentation for staging areas, including head counts and activity monitoring.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective manpower allocation and daily needs are met.
- Develop and distribute reports to drive key business decisions and optimize vehicle output.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve KPI performance.
- Manage clock-in and clock-out procedures to ensure timely payroll processing.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior leadership experience and automotive experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret instructions and apply them effectively.
