Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Action Officer to join our team at Insight Global. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our SES customer in an engineering office focused on a key technology area for the US.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking actions and tasks to timely closure, developing executive-level status and summary briefings, and providing oversight on internal control, budget, and finance advisory. They will also be responsible for creating and managing communications for the enterprise, group, and individuals, including meeting agendas, briefings, and meeting minutes.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge engineering topics and contribute to the future of a critical engineering practice area within the DOD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track actions and tasks to timely closure
  • Develop executive-level status and summary briefings
  • Provide oversight on internal control, budget, and finance advisory
  • Create and manage communications for the enterprise, group, and individuals
Requirements
  • TS clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience
  • Prior DOD experience (service, deployments, staff level or front office support)
  • Experience with Program Objective Memorandum (POM), PPBE (Programming planning budget execution), DOD acquisition, or congressional processes
  • Experience working taskers or staff actions in a DOD office
  • Experience writing white papers, briefings, correspondence, and reports
  • Extensive experience in the Pentagon at OSD, Joint Staff, or other high-level organization
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $150,000-$170,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
