About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Demand Generation Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the continued growth of our startup. In this position, you'll report directly to the Vice President and GM of Check Trust.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of paid search (SEM) campaigns for Checkr Trust, working closely with our agency team to optimize efficiency and scalability.
  • Defining and implementing a strategy for paid acquisition across other growth channels, such as social media, display ads, affiliate programs, and other pay-per-click/purchase programs.
  • Driving optimization through experimentation on landing pages in collaboration with our design, website, and analytics teams.
  • Management of paid media budgets, ensuring optimal allocation across channels based on set goals.
  • Analyzing datasets to understand the paid marketing funnel and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Partnering with finance, analytics, and marketing operations to leverage our marketing technology stack and data, understanding campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Driving value proposition experiments to validate our product offering and inform our roadmap.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A background in founding or holding early roles at fast-paced startups.
  • Deep expertise in digital/performance marketing across search, social, affiliate, and display channels (at least 6 years preferred). Experience managing large-scale paid search campaigns is essential.
  • A strong analytical mindset, with experience analyzing campaign datasets, website metrics, and internal conversion data. You should be able to translate data insights into actionable decisions.
  • Proficiency with basic analytical tools (Google Sheets/Excel, Looker, Google Analytics).
  • The ability to drive projects forward across multiple teams and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

We strive for transparency in all aspects of our business, including salary ranges. For this role, the estimated annual salary range in San Francisco, CA is between $113,782 and $133,861.
