Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Vitronic Machine Vision. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our project-based software solutions, utilizing multi-threaded, legacy, ANSI C, C++, and various programming languages to create complete custom software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement custom software solutions to provide interfaces between Vitronic software and customers.
  • Utilize GIT and Visual Studio VC10/2017 to setup new project software, make modifications to existing code, and configure XML.
  • Modify existing simulators and interfaces with code-level changes.
  • Write functions with predefined requirements and test that code.
  • Analyze and correct errors of complex problems on site or via remote maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the team in Germany on projects and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in C++.
  • Minimum 3 years engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency programming with a QWERTY keyboard.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to use computer, electrical, mechanical, and safety equipment.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelors Degree in computer, electrical, industrial, or other applicable engineering.
  • MS Degree in computer, electrical, industrial, or other applicable engineering.
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, Xml, Networking, Interfaces, GIT, RegEx, Python, Bash, Batch, and Pascal.
