About the Role

Creative Realities Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Development Project Manager to oversee software development projects for high-profile corporate customers. As the primary project management lead, you will be responsible for guiding various software projects through both planning and execution phases, ensuring a predictable experience for employees and clients.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of project-related experience in software development and 5+ years working with enterprise software platforms as a project manager or in an equivalent project leadership role. Strong customer-facing skills, technical knowledge, and excellent presentation and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Plan, facilitate, and administer assigned software development projects.
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate internal resources and development teams to ensure effective deployment of overall solutions.
  • Technical Escalation: Serve as the first level of technical escalation for development issues for the assigned program team.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Identify, assess, and communicate with all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication flow between development, QA, product management, account management, and leadership.
  • Triple Constraint Management: Manage the triple constraints on any given project: Schedule, Cost, and Quality.
  • Project Billing: Manage/initiate all project billing per the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Project Reviews: Participate in weekly project reviews with internal teams and clients.
  • Documentation and Administration: Collect and maintain all required project artifacts, create change orders as needed, and provide timely and professional client service.
  • Status Reporting: Provide concise and meaningful updates to leadership, report challenges and roadblocks, and propose remediation options.
Requirements
  • Education: BA/BS preferred and PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Experience: 7+ years of project-related experience in software development and 5+ years working with enterprise software platforms as a project manager or in an equivalent project leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methodologies, technology implementation, and experienced user of CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a strong technical aptitude to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
