Software Engineer Role

As a Software Engineer at VITRONIC Machine Vision, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project-based software solutions. Your expertise in multi-threaded, legacy, ANSI C, C++, and various programming languages will enable you to create custom software solutions that provide seamless interfaces between our software and customers.

You will be responsible for utilizing GIT and Visual Studio VC10/2017 to set up new project software, make modifications to existing code, and configure XML. Additionally, you will modify existing simulators and interfaces with code-level changes, write functions with predefined requirements, and test that code.

Collaboration with our team in Germany on projects and troubleshooting is essential. You will be self-motivated and take initiative to problem-solve issues. Strong communication and documentation skills are required, as well as the ability to use computer, electrical, mechanical, and safety equipment.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of engineering experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in C++
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to use computer, electrical, mechanical, and safety equipment
  • Minimal travel domestically and internationally
Desired Characteristics
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer, electrical, industrial, or other applicable engineering
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, Xml, Networking, Interfaces, GIT, RegEx, Python, Bash, Batch, and Pascal
