Job Summary:

Unitek Learning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registrar to join our team. As a key member of our academic administration team, the Registrar will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the Records and Registration Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management of the Records and Registration Department, including planning, organizing, and managing all activities related to student records.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, supervise, and evaluate Records and Registration staff to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.
  • Student Records Management: Collect, record, maintain, and report student records within FERPA guidelines, including grades, registration data, transcripts, mid-term verification, FSA audits, and other associated audits.
  • Technology Implementation: Provide leadership and develop recommendations for the implementation of related technology applications to support enhanced services offered through Registration and Records.
  • Departmental Budget: Develop and administer the departmental budget to ensure effective financial management.
  • Problem Solving: Research, analyze, and resolve student disputes related to records and registration.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with administrators, CD's, faculty, IT, and counselors to facilitate and improve services to students, including catalog and registration/records policy questions.
  • Communication: Communicate important and necessary information to and from students, faculty, and other Unitek staff as assigned.
  • Program Management: Create and maintain program terms and calendars in Campus Vue.
  • Enrollment Processing: Process and review new student enrollment agreements to ensure compliance with admissions requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in educational administration or a related field.
  • Education: College degree preferred.
  • Skills: Positive attitude, ability to plan and adapt to change, collaboration, basic Windows operation system commands, Microsoft Office skills, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation: $24-$25/hour depending on experience.
