Responsibilities
  • Manage service orders and the flow of the Drive Lane, ensuring customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
  • Take ownership of the customer experience by executing additional tasks that help the dealership leave a positive impression.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether via phone or in person, ensuring customers are well taken care of.
  • Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently allocated to service customers.
  • Efficiently distribute work among technicians.
  • Address technical inquiries regarding vehicle issues, warranties, services, and repairs.
  • Maintain Customer Happiness scores at or above company standards.
  • Assist in diagnosing vehicle issues; order parts and tools as necessary.
  • Oversee warranty claims administration and provide training and supervision within the service department.
  • Set schedules and assign tasks to service department personnel.
  • Reinforce company policies and adhere to established standards.
  • Encourage compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with manufacturers and foster strong employee relations.
  • Collaborate with upper management on hiring and disciplinary decisions within the service department.
