Insurance Sales Representative

Bianca Watkins - State Farm Agent seeks a driven and results-oriented Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for promoting State Farm insurance products and services to prospective clients.
Estimated SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Insurance Sales Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Making outbound calls to prospective clients to promote State Farm insurance products and services
- Identifying and qualifying leads for agents by gathering relevant client information
- Staying informed about the various insurance products and services offered by State Farm
- FOLLOWING UP ON LEADS GENERATED FROM MARKETING CAMPAIGNS OR REFERRALS TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS FOR AGENTS
- Providing initial information to potential clients and answering basic questions about insurance options
- Maintaining and updating a database of prospects and client interactions
- Ensuring all communications adhere to State Farm guidelines and compliance standards
- Preparing regular reports on call activity, lead generation, and appointment scheduling
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous telemarketing or sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry
- Strong communication and persuasion skills; proficiency in using CRM software
- A basic understanding of insurance products or a willingness to learn
- The ability to handle rejection and remain motivated
- Good organizational skills to manage and track multiple leads
- A professional and courteous telephone manner
- A strong focus on achieving targets and contributing to the agency's growth
