Job Responsibilities

As an Insurance Sales Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Making outbound calls to prospective clients to promote State Farm insurance products and services
  • Identifying and qualifying leads for agents by gathering relevant client information
  • Staying informed about the various insurance products and services offered by State Farm
  • FOLLOWING UP ON LEADS GENERATED FROM MARKETING CAMPAIGNS OR REFERRALS TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS FOR AGENTS
  • Providing initial information to potential clients and answering basic questions about insurance options
  • Maintaining and updating a database of prospects and client interactions
  • Ensuring all communications adhere to State Farm guidelines and compliance standards
  • Preparing regular reports on call activity, lead generation, and appointment scheduling
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous telemarketing or sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills; proficiency in using CRM software
  • A basic understanding of insurance products or a willingness to learn
  • The ability to handle rejection and remain motivated
  • Good organizational skills to manage and track multiple leads
  • A professional and courteous telephone manner
  • A strong focus on achieving targets and contributing to the agency's growth
