CDL Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator

American Compliance Technologies is seeking skilled CDL Driver/Heavy Equipment Operators to contribute to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in drum processing, industrial cleaning tasks, and serve as an emergency response team member.
  • Perform duties efficiently and safely while utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness in both work and break areas.
  • Handle loading and unloading of equipment, as well as setup and breakdown procedures.
  • Work across various industrial environments.
  • Utilize manual tools and machinery for industrial cleaning activities.
  • Operate and maintain equipment to ensure peak performance.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental or construction-related work.
  • Proficient in operating heavy machinery and vehicles requiring a CDL.
  • General maintenance skills for equipment and vehicles.
  • Must successfully pass drug screenings.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Demands:

  • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to maintain a physical workload involving manual labor.
  • Willingness to wear respirators in environments with chemicals.
  • Ability to perform tasks that may extend beyond typical shift durations.
  • Physically manage industrial equipment and hoses.

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor work throughout the year.
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals and working at heights.
  • Working conditions may include noise and heavy industrial machinery.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Agreement to nondisclosure and noncompete terms.
  • Successful completion of a negative drug screen.
  • Eligibility to operate a vehicle under the company's auto insurance policy.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and to compose routine reports and correspondence.
