Job Summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team for the Broward I-95 Express Lanes project in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate an Excavator to complete tasks such as digging, excavating, and moving materials.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
  • Load and unload materials, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment.
  • Assist in other duties around the jobsite as needed.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of operating experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
  • Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
