The Area Sales Manager is a key role in driving sales growth and market share for Eternal Water. This position is responsible for executing a go-to-market strategy that includes both Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and direct routes to market.
Key Responsibilities:- Grow sales and market share by identifying and creating new business opportunities and increasing the customer base within the assigned territory.
- Implement sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of the territory, expanding account and package distribution to maximize sales.
- Monitor and report competitive activities, and stay up-to-date on market trends.
- Work with distributor personnel and retailers to ensure sales, distribution, and merchandising objectives are met.
- Attend distributor meetings on a regular basis and train and develop distributor sales personnel on brand standards to optimize sales performance.
- Roll out and champion the Eternal Water brand platform across all market segments.
- Establish sales objectives for the territory, in conjunction with the RSM & Director.
- Use the ShelvSpace App daily to record account calls, accomplishments, and opportunities.
- At least 2 years of relevant sales experience in the beverage business.
- Experience working for or with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distributors is a must.
- Account sales experience is a plus.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good command of business mathematics with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment with minimal oversight.
- Ability to perform physical activities required by the job duties, including occasionally lifting and moving up to 65 pounds individually and greater weights with assistance.
This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule. The work location is in person.
A driver's license is required for this role.
