We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team at IDEXX as a Veterinary Diagnostic Sales Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our Veterinary customers to help sell IDEXX's medical device diagnostics portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase recurring diagnostic revenue and attain quarterly medical device equipment sales.
  • Collaborate with other IDEXX sales professionals in the region to close capital equipment and technology sales.
  • Educate and train veterinary clinic staff about products, services, and marketing initiatives, including how to engage customer service.
  • Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to IDEXX's marketing organization and business unit manager.
  • Present IDEXX's values to customers in a professional manner, including an understanding of our industry, veterinary practice, customers, technology, operations, and processes.
  • Manage IDEXX expenses and resources in line with company guidelines and directives.
  • Adhere to and model IDEXX's purpose and guiding principles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 or more years of proven experience successfully managing your own outside sales territory.
  • Experience in the veterinary/animal health industry, human healthcare, or medical device sales.
  • Ability to work well with others in a highly team-oriented, collaborative sales environment.
  • Ability to meet the requirements of a field sales role, including extensive car travel, occasional travel overnight, and flexibility for potential weekend work.
  • Comfortable working in veterinary clinic and hospital environments.
  • Reside within or be willing to relocate to the Macon, GA territory.
