Xylem is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer III to join our team in the Northeastern US. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of water treatment equipment at customer sites in the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct semi-complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.
- Guide and perform the review of complex-task plans, drawings, and installation schematics.
- Train customers and other engineers to maintain and adjust complex tools, test equipment, and calibration items.
- Develop planning and estimating of labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, transportation expenses, and per diem rates to complete complex proposals.
- Complete and submit reports covering all job activity.
- BS/BA degree in Engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Familiarity with PLC, including program loading and minor changes to Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC's.
- Strong knowledge of operational processes as defined in the work area.
- Commitment to deliverables with customers and/or management.
- Strong understanding of business acumen and drive some strategic customer relations.
- A competitive salary range of $70,000 to $126,500.
- A full benefits package, including Flexible Time Off (FTO), health, dental, vision, investment savings plan, and additional miscellaneous benefits.
