About the Role:

Crossland Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and monitor job-site safety to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Study project plans and specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project scope and objectives.
  • Layout and coordinate the project layout, including total station and GPS layout.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and organization on the jobsite.
  • Document project progress through daily reports, three-week schedules, timekeeping, and equipment reports.
  • Assist in the management of sub-contractors and scheduling.
  • Responsible for the protection and care of company-owned assets, including tools and equipment.
  • Responsible for knowing all subcontractors' scope of work, including inclusions and exclusions.
