About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Ultimate Kronos Group. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic circuits and systems for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new electronic circuits and systems to meet product requirements
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering team to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Work with manufacturing to create tests, procedures, or processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Develop and maintain test procedures and test circuit schematics that align with product specifications and design requirements
  • Assist with testing associated with NPI process and product qualification
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience
  • Electrical engineering background and understanding of hardware engineering principles
  • Experience in schematic capture and layout tools utilizing DxDesigner or Altium
  • Experience designing and developing electronic circuit and systems
  • Experience trouble shooting hardware and process issues down to the component
  • Experience managing field returns and quality issues
  • Experience in EE Safety and EMC compliance for IT equipment or similar
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of microprocessor design including PMIC and startup power synchronization
  • Knowledge in design of RF card readers such as NFC or 125 KHz RF readers
  • Experience in compliance with CE marking requirements for intentional radiators such as RF card readers
  • Experience in circuit design using MIPI or LVDS for displays
  • Experience in layout using PADS Professional, Expedition or Altium Designer
