A reputable manufacturing organization is seeking to hire an Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Coordinator. This position is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees within the facility.

Position Overview:

This is a direct hire opportunity that requires immediate attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule: Standard hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Work is conducted entirely on-site.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in safety management or a related field is preferred, although relevant experience and certifications may be considered.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of environmental health and safety.
  • Demonstrated experience as a safety trainer.
  • Possession of valid certifications in occupational health and safety (OSHA).

Daily Duties:

  • The Compliance Coordinator will be tasked with formulating and executing health and safety strategies, enforcing regulations, and assessing practices and facilities to ensure adherence to legal standards.
  • Responsibilities include conducting training sessions, monitoring compliance, investigating incidents, and offering recommendations for enhancements.
  • They will also be responsible for communicating safety guidelines to staff, reporting on health and safety matters, and developing relevant policies to foster a secure work environment.
  • The primary goal is to promote occupational health and safety while minimizing risks for all personnel.
