Position Overview:
The incumbent will oversee a team within the Bureau of Program Compliance and Audit, contributing to the primary functions of the bureau.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the progress of all audits and evaluations related to program areas, including those conducted by oversight bodies.
- Coordinate with relevant State and Federal representatives to ensure participation in all audit-related meetings and discussions.
- Manage responses to preliminary, draft, and final audit findings, including follow-up inquiries and status requests.
- Evaluate eligibility determinations related to health programs to ensure compliance with established criteria.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of eligibility assessments to verify adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in organizing logistics for on-site evaluations, including access to systems and training.
- Provide direct and indirect supervision to team members, including performance assessments, training, and disciplinary actions.
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will possess experience in public health insurance programs, particularly in Medicaid and Medicare. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential. Experience with electronic data systems is advantageous.
