Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Restaurant Management
    • Oversee the seamless operation of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of service, quality, and cleanliness meet Hyatt's high standards.
    • Manage a team of restaurant staff, including training, development, and performance management.
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
  • Food and Beverage Operations
    • Work closely with the F&B team to develop and implement menus, promotions, and events that meet guest expectations and drive revenue growth.
    • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
    • Ensure that all food and beverage products meet Hyatt's quality and safety standards.
  • Guest Experience
    • Ensure that every guest interaction is exceptional, responding promptly to guest feedback and concerns.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage restaurant budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Hyatt's standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership, communication, and administration skills.
    • Passion for food and beverage and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
    • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar service.
    • Familiarity with restaurant management software and hotel property management systems.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing guest demands.
