The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and workplace safety across all Restaurant Associates locations. This includes maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal health codes, as well as ensuring that all employees and vendors adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on food safety and sanitation procedures
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of food safety and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with building services and vendor partners to ensure timely resolution of health and safety issues
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any food safety or sanitation concerns
- Participate in regular safety calls with regional and national teams to ensure consistency and best practices
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years of kitchen experience or 3-5 years of field experience as an inspector
- Strong attention to detail and ability to teach and train others
- Knowledge of local and state health codes and HACCP principles
- ServSafe certification and a valid DOH Food Protection card
