**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Appliance Repair Apprentice to join our team in Nassau County. As an Appliance Repair Apprentice, you will assist with the diagnosis and repair of appliances, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Install and maintain home appliances and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assist with the diagnosis and repair of appliances, using your problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Follow up on diagnosis and install parts as needed to complete appliance repairs, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with the service.
- Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.
- Ensure the efficient use of company resources and materials, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
- Actively participate in learning activities, such as online and video resources, to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions, to support the growth and success of our team.
**Requirements**
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proficiency in navigating tablet-based technology.
- The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance.
- Flexible and variable hours, with no weekends required.
**Physical Demands**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
