Position Overview:

PLEX Solutions, LLC is on the lookout for a Systems Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position demands a current security clearance and is pivotal in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough analysis of user requirements, operational concepts, and overarching system architectures to formulate comprehensive system requirements specifications.
- Lead the design and development phases by analyzing system requirements and providing guidance to users in defining their needs, exploring alternative solutions, and performing feasibility assessments.
- Offer technical leadership in integrating requirements, design, and technology, ensuring seamless incorporation of new plans and systems into existing operations.
- Generate and maintain essential technical documentation, including system architecture and design specifications.
- Facilitate system development and implementation planning through the creation of system engineering management plans and integration/test plans.
- Engage with government representatives concerning technical aspects of Systems Engineering, addressing any associated challenges or conflicts.
- Uphold ultimate accountability for the technical integrity of all work performed and deliverables within the Systems Engineering domain.
- Foster communication with program personnel, government officials, and senior management.

Minimum Qualifications:

- A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of comparable scope, type, and complexity is essential.
- A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- An active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
