Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Permanent Production Team Lead to become a vital part of our dynamic manufacturing team. This role presents a unique opportunity to engage with a forward-thinking organization where your contributions will be valued.

As a Permanent Production Team Lead, your primary responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the production team, ensuring that production goals are achieved while upholding stringent quality standards.

You will play a crucial role in promoting continuous improvement initiatives and cultivating a positive and efficient work atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily production operations, ensuring that production goals are met and quality benchmarks are adhered to.
  • Lead and guide the production team, offering support, training, and mentorship as necessary.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, identifying areas for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee production costs, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to facilitate seamless operations and timely product delivery.
  • Maintain precise and current production documentation and reports.
  • Encourage a collaborative and productive work culture, fostering teamwork.
  • Engage in the recruitment and selection of production personnel.
  • Conduct performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a production leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating production teams.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a talent for motivating and inspiring others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and implementing effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities, adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in production management software and systems.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and development, with the ability to adapt to industry changes and challenges.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
