Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Permanent Production Team Lead to become part of our successful manufacturing team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organization where your impact will be significant.

As a Permanent Production Team Lead, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing and coordinating the daily functions of the production team, ensuring that production goals are achieved, and upholding stringent quality control measures.

Your role will also encompass driving initiatives for continuous improvement and cultivating a positive and efficient work atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily production operations, ensuring that production goals are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Supervise and coordinate the production team, offering guidance, support, and training as necessary.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols and regulations to guarantee a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor production expenses, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and current production records, reports, and documentation.
  • Encourage a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for production personnel.
  • Conduct performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a production leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating production teams.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a talent for motivating and inspiring others.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build robust relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in utilizing production management software and systems.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and development, with the ability to adapt to changes and challenges in the manufacturing sector.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
