Job Title: Septic Truck Driver

Lickety Split Air, Plumbing, Electric is seeking a skilled and reliable Septic Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for operating a company service truck and driving to various locations to pump septic tanks, grease tanks, and other non-hazardous liquid wastes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a company service truck and drive to various locations to pump septic tanks, grease tanks, and other non-hazardous liquid wastes.
  • Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide effective communication between customers and office staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Observe and note defective septic component systems, adverse buildup, or hazards on the work order.
  • Recommend any maintenance or service to customers to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency, including getting the truck ready, tools, and supplies.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
  • Complete and submit quote and service paperwork to management in a timely manner, if required.
  • Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner to ensure prompt service delivery.
  • Discuss and recommend adequate maintenance service frequency with customers to ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of professional commercial driving experience (post-school).
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam, and road exams.
  • Ability to operate in a drug-free workplace and meet physical demands evaluation.
