Overview

Ring Power Corporation is a leading Caterpillar dealer in the Southeastern United States, with a strong presence in Florida and beyond. As a Service Apprentice Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality construction equipment is delivered to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
  • Develop skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues
  • Learn and apply Caterpillar technical knowledge and procedures
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months or less of experience in a related field
  • Ability to comprehend written material and communicate effectively with employees and customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs

Working Environment

As a Service Apprentice Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to stress. You will be required to work independently or as part of a team, with some discretion in decision-making and setting priorities.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently: Climbing, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Sitting, Walking, Fingering, Grasping, Repetitive Motion
  • Occasionally: Pushing - Up to 25 lbs., Pulling - Up to 25 lbs., Lifting - Up to 25 lbs.

Environmental Conditions

  • Frequently: Inside conditions, Noise, Vibration, Hazards, Atmospheric conditions, Oils
  • Occasionally: Outside environmental conditions, Extreme cold, Extreme heat, Air particulates / contaminants
