About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Inspection Project Manager to join our Transportation Bridges and Structures Team in Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading bridge inspection teams, performing inspections, and developing rehabilitation designs and plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead bridge inspection teams and perform inspections to ensure compliance with National Bridge Inventory (NBI) standards.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation designs and plans for bridges and other transportation-related structures.
  • Collaborate with other offices to assist with bridge inspection, rehabilitation, and load rating tasks.
  • Perform calculations using company-standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
Qualifications
  • Completed 2-week NHI Course No. or the 5-day NHI Course No.
  • Thorough understanding of codes, legal, and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Office, and AssetWise (or equivalent).
  • Ability to participate and collaborate in project team settings, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate ideas, design issues, and solutions to others.
  • Ability to create and interpret sketches, drawings, and various structures.
  • Ability to travel in/out of office periodically (15-25%).
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
Education and Experience
  • TxDOT pre-certified in 6.1.2 Routine Bridge Inspection Project Manager.
  • TxDOT pre-certified in 6.2.2 Complex Bridge Inspection Project Manager.
  • Two to five years of bridges inspection experience.
  • Professional Engineer license(s).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.

This is a full-time position that will work in an office setting and require field work.
